This was our 2nd stay at Rockhouse. Five of us convened for a reunion after the last year of Covid madness. The location absolutely can’t be beat! It’s a quick easy walk (or kayak trip if you’re so inclined) to the square. The backyard is a fave! Relaxing around the huge firepit, surrounded by beautiful tall cypress trees, overlooking the river is just a fantastic way to relax & decompress. There are plenty of adirondock chairs to go around and the fairy lights are such a great touch. We got to spend some quality time by the pool this time as well. The chaise lounges are very comfortable & plentiful. The pool does need a good cleaning but as it’s only April & before summer, I’m sure it will be attended to. The beds are sooooo comfy & the linens are very clean and soft. The house was IMMACULATE (except for the fridge shelves & a few of the pans). The coffee pot in the kitchen still doesn’t work but we grabbed the one from the awesome pool house. The layout of the house provides ample space for a large group to spread out. We LOVE Rockhouse & already can’t wait to rebook. It’s such a fun place. You can play pool, air hockey, foosball, roku tv, or enjoy beautiful nature outdoors. I packed trash bags, dish soap, bathroom hand soaps, toilet paper, & paper towels but we didn’t need any of it as everything was stocked for our short stay. Other than the very minor details (dirty fridge shelves, few pans, & pool), we had zero complaints or issues. Check in process was seamless and stress free. We didn’t want to leave and could’ve enjoyed another day. The house is truly a gem. We made so many new memories and can’t wait for a third visit.
