This is the 4th year that we have enjoyed a July 4th getaway with our kids and grandkids and it has never disappointed! Unfortunately, the July heat was oppressive and the AC did not adequately cool the hallway bedrooms, even though the staff was helpful with advice and did have a serviceman check it out. The next time that we come we will bring floor fans for those 2 rooms. We also would suggest that the temperature in the refrigerator be turned down early enough that it is cold by the 4 pm check-in time. Our frozen items melted while waiting for the temp to drop from 4 degrees to a minus number. The fridge was set at 47 degrees.
But a good time was had by all, and we look forward to our next stay at Rock House.
