Rented 5 of these cottages for a family gathering. We have stayed in A lOT of places over the years and I have to say that Millies is one of the best. The cabins are all remodeled and done very well. The bunks are awesome and can easily sleep 2 kids each. The kitchenette is like new with everything you need for a stay. There were plenty of supplies for a 2 night stay. The layout worked fantastic for a large gathering and we always found a spot to gather outside. The water level directly below the cottages was pretty low and the mud there was unforgiving, but that’s Texas and my kids loved playing in it:-) The open water was right there and sunsets were gorgeous. I really can’t think of anything I would improve except the slow coffee maker:-) Everyone in my group completely enjoyed the stay and kept asking “how did you find this place?” Would totally recommend for a group gathering or an individual.
