Sail away to The Nautical Tree House located in the hill country of Dripping Springs. This one room tree house sits in a canopy of trees eight feet off the ground. The Nautical cottage sleeps up to two guests and is the perfect romantic getaway. Inside, find a rustic wooden interior that illuminates lots of natural light through picture windows and fun maritime accents.

With seafaring decor, the Nautical house will put you in a tranquil state of mind with its calming palette of turquoise, navy, and ocean blue accents. The bedroom space hosts a comfortable queen-size bed with fun sea-loving accents and cozy linens. Relax in the living space and enjoy one of the many books from the fun canoe bookcase or watch a movie on the mounted flat screen television. Tidy up in the bathroom with a stand up shower, and roomy sink area. This roomy kitchenette comes with a toaster, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, and a coffee maker for guests to prepare themselves hot drinks and snacks.

Outside, there's a charming porch at the front of the cottage, with deck chairs for guests to kick back with their favorite beverages and enjoy the fresh air. Unwind on the porch swing under the cottage for a unique spot to sit by the pond, waterfall and stream. Barbeque favorites on the outdoor grill.Take a walk along rock-lined paths and take in the goldfish pond and wildlife. Enjoy use of the umbrella, picnic tables, outdoor game of corn hole, or s'mores around the fire pit in the communal outdoor space.

Dripping Springs is known as the Gateway to the hill country and offers an abundance of fun to be found in and around the area. For a day outing, visit Hamilton Pool Reserve for swimming and picnicking, Dr. Pound Historic Farmstead learn about farming and the history of the area, Dripping Springs Ranch Park as well as Pedernales Falls State Park are great for swimming or hiking, with many wineries in the area enjoy wine tasting, for nature enthusiasts, rock climb at Reimers Ranch, or two-step while enjoying live music at the historic downtown Mercer Street Dance Hall. There is plenty to do in and around the area.

Very pleasant

"This place was awesome. Everything you could want for a 1-2 person stay. We enjoyed watching the deer, squirrels ect… from the deck. Even though it was hot the breeze on the deck made it comfortable. One small issue was the Wi-Fi/cell service, but just sit back and enjoy nature. Close to Austin and other small communities so there is plenty to see and do.

"We wanted to try something different from the typical hotel to relax & recharge. Despite the burn ban and drought conditions, this place is magical and the gentle breezes from the treehouse along with the views are breathtaking. One of the best decisions we’ve made in charting new adventures.

Really enjoyed our five day stay at the Nautical House

"The Nautical House has everything you need for a two person stay and the bed is very comfortable. The location is extremely quiet so falling asleep is no problem. Sitting on the deck in the morning you are likely to see deer and hear birds in the woods. The outside swing in the circle is very relaxing. Only a short drive to Dripping Springs on paved roads.
