Welcome to Millie’s - Mehta. Cottages maintain their original 1970’s charm, now transformed into contemporary, comfortable gems with the best sunsetsin all of Canyon Lake.

Currently Canyon Lake levels are at a historic low and lake access from Millie's is limited. Please visit the MyCanyonLake website for more information under the category of lakes and rivers.

Creature comforts include:
· Queen bed and a full over queen bunk bed (sleeps 6)
· Living area with dining table, couch, WiFi, Smart TV (bring your logins), games, puzzles, books, etc.
· A cozy kitchen including Galanz fridge/freezer, electric range/oven, microwave, coffee maker (of course), blender, toaster, dishes, drinkware, flatware, knives, cooking tools, bakeware, pot holders, BBQ tools, dish soap, first aid kit, and more. Customized Yeti cups are available for purchase if you’d like to take Millie’s home with you.
· Beautiful, full bath – including towels, hairdryers, and bathing suit hangers.
· Outdoor seating area including a charcoal BBQ pit (BYO - meat, veggies, charcoal and lighter fluid), picnic table, and chairs.
· 1 wagon/cottage and beach towels.
· Parking – 2 cars/cottage or 1 car and a boat maximum.
· Proximity to Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #17 (currently closed), Canyon Lake Dam, Brookshire Brothers Grocery, Gruene, shopping, restaurants, watercraft rentals and more.

As the property boasts the perfect combination of convenience and seclusion, wild things abound. We’ve seen those that slither, sting, stink, spray and graze so be aware of your surroundings and who you share it with.

Speaking of sharing – there will be other guests on the property with you in other cottages.

*The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Cleanliness is always our top priority. We offer a 24 hour guest service contact number for emergencies and messages will be answered promptly. Arrive after four o’clock when it is convenient for you with an easy and contactless check in and out process for our guests.

"Rented 5 of these cottages for a family gathering. We have stayed in A lOT of places over the years and I have to say that Millies is one of the best. The cabins are all remodeled and done very well. The bunks are awesome and can easily sleep 2 kids each. The kitchenette is like new with everything you need for a stay. There were plenty of supplies for a 2 night stay. The layout worked fantastic for a large gathering and we always found a spot to gather outside. The water level directly below the cottages was pretty low and the mud there was unforgiving, but that's Texas and my kids loved playing in it:-) The open water was right there and sunsets were gorgeous. I really can't think of anything I would improve except the slow coffee maker:-) Everyone in my group completely enjoyed the stay and kept asking "how did you find this place?" Would totally recommend for a group gathering or an individual. Thanks for a memorable time!

Lake Life = Happy Life

"We loved our stay! We rented three cabins - 4, 5, and 6, over Labor Day Weekend 2022. It was an amazing time to getaway with our dear friends and all have our own space, but also have communal space to eat together and enjoy lake life together. The property is wonderful - it is tucked away and feels private. While every cabin was booked, as it was a holiday weekend, we felt like we had plenty of space and rarely saw anyone else on the property or on the trek to the lake! It felt like our very own spot. It is very peaceful and we loved swinging in the hammocks, enjoying the chairs and spending as much time as we could outside! The inside of the cabins are adorable. They are thoughtfully renovated with nice touches throughout - like a really big full size top bunk/queen size bottom bunk for the kids, plenty of over the door hangers to hang items to dry, pool towels, a full size fridge, and all the amenities you'd want. We liked the family games, especially has we had some rain over the weekend. Overall the inside is nice, clean, modern and well equipped. The lake life was what really made this trip epic. Being able to walk down to the lake and enjoy coffee, swim or just spend time collecting shells was a bit hit with adults and kids alike. The wagons were helpful in carting our cooler and lilly pad down. We also enjoyed plenty of activities within 5-10 minutes from the property - we rented a pontoon boat for the day, we explored the trails at the Gorge, got coffee at the cutest local spots and loved walking over the Dam in the mornings for sunrise views that were stunning (and views of the entire valley and lake!). My kids loved it, our friends loved it. We'd definitely recommend staying here again!

Nice stay

"We had a very nice stay and the weather was perfect. My complaint is the mattresses. They are so noisy. Any move you make it sounds like paper crumpling together. A new couch would definitely make the stay more enjoyable. It’s so low to the floor and the cushions are flat. I would love to book this place again for a friends gathering but because of these reasons I am very apprehensive.

Perfect lakefront get away

"Our family of five enjoyed this wonderful little cottage! The cottage was just the right size and there was great detail to the amenities provided from the beach towels and beach wagon down to the yeti mugs to keep your coffee warm. We had problems with the smart tv not connected to the internet so the owners came out to remedy the problem right away. They were so friendly and it was great to hear about the history of the property and the continual work they are doing to make property even more accommodating. We plan on making this an annual trip.

Quaint cottage on beautiful Canyon Lake

"This newly remodeled cottage on Canyon Lake was the perfect location for our brief getaway. The cottage is the perfect size for a couple or small family. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the Adirondack chairs each morning while watching deer graze just feet from us. The evening sunsets along the beach while the kids swam were glorious. This cottage is 10 minutes to Canyon Lake Marina where we rented a boat for tubing and wake boarding. Also minutes away you can find Canyon Lake beach, Comal beach, and a variety of tube rental companies for floating the Guadalupe. We can't wait to come back for another weekend reprieve from the hustle and bustle of city life.
