This upscale hill country hideaway is an adults only casita located in Driftwood and offers a perfect retreat for those that enjoy relaxing poolside, romantic walks, and evenings spent in a refreshing hot tub under starry skies. The Birdsong Casita is within minutes of many of Driftwood’s fabulous wineries, restaurants, as well as other hill country favorites making this the perfect location to begin your hill country adventure. Located on 50 acres, guests are welcome to explore the private trails surrounding the casita.

Guests of the Birdsong Casita are treated to their own shared retreat with beautiful hill country views, breathtaking natural landscape pool, cabana with bar, and a relaxing hot tub.. *Note: Pool and hot tub are shared amenities with the guests of the second casita on the property***.

Inside this stunning upscale Casita, guests will find a bright and airy one bedroom contemporary haven that offers a high end feel. Designed with comfort and beauty in mind, the Birdsong Casita hosts large picturesque windows overlooking beautiful landscape, unique stained concrete flooring, clean modern cabinetry, and striking teal glazed tile all adding to the impressive feel and comfort of the casita. Professionally designed with relaxation and romance in mind the living space hosts a cozy sofa with fun patterned pillows, textured rugs, and large screen television perfect for a romantic evening with a favorite bottle of wine. This impressive kitchenette is ideal for preparing effortless meals, with a full fridge, toaster oven, microwave coffee pot, dishes and silverware. For those who enjoy grilling there is a private propane grill located on the front porch area along with patio seating. Sleep effortlessly in this modern designed bedroom that hosts a king bed. With a clean bright airy feel,roomy closet, luxurious linens and fun pops of color, guests are sure to feel refreshed after a peaceful night's sleep. Tidy up in the spacious bathroom with lovely tile work, a walk in shower and plenty of counter space for two.

With 50 acres of ranch land, guests are welcome to explore the private trails. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the shared pool retreat area. This hill country oasis includes a gorgeous 27,00 gallon pool, hot tub, cabana with bar, and a lounging area. Enjoy cozy evenings around the firepit roasting marshmallows and enjoying a favorite beverage.

The Birdsong Casita is the perfect hideaway for romantics. Conveniently located within minutes to many of Driftwood’s finest wineries, and restaurants. The Duchman Family Winery, Fall Creek Vineyards, or Vista Brewing are located only minutes away. For an evening of fabulous food and fun, dine at the Salt Lick BBQ or Hays City Store. With Wimberley only a few minutes away, spend the day in the downtown square shops and dine at the delicious restaurants. Enjoy a round of golf at the Quicksand Golf Course or explore Blue Hole Regional Park that offers hiking trails and swimming. Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon. Explore New Braunfels and Gruene for an enjoyable day trip. Less than thirty minutes away is Austin's Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center as well as the Austin Magic’s Theater and Museum.

If planning a couples trip, then consider renting both casitas on the property. The Birdsong Casita is located next door to the Moonlight casita and is separated by privacy fence.

"This small but perfectly appointed casita was a great, very clean and comfortable. The bed linens, decor and bathroom were a dream. The kitchenette also worked well. I did not use the swimming pool, but it looked like a spa pool with a pretty Texas landscape view. The owners were very helpful, as I had trouble with the TV, but it was quickly remedied. There are many nice restaurants in nearby Wimberley, and a fantastic coffee spot just 3 minutes away called Sonder. I highly recommend Birdsong Casita.

"Beautifully appointed casita, felt like we were sleeping outdoors with air conditioning! Super comfortable, huge bed. Kitchen and bath were very nice and the outdoor solar pathway lights were delightful. Wonderful experience!

"Such a lovely place! We brought our own pool floats and spent almost all day just floating, swimming and drinking wine that we purchased from local wineries. It was over 100 degrees, but the casitas was lovely and cool. Bring breakfast foods since we couldn't find a grocery or breakfast place nearby. Don't worry about dinner, Trattoria Lisina and Salt Lick are wonderful. Our hosts and staff were so nice and accommodating. Would have loved to spend time with Allison and talk about her place, but she knew we were a couple on a birthday trip, so she gave us all the privacy in world. Can't say anything negative about the casita other than you are missing out if you don't stay. Bring another couple and you have the whole place to yourselves. We stayed in Birdsong which I think maybe a little roomer.

"We love to stay here. It is our go to in TX. So nice and quiet and the rooms are wonderful. The bedding is so comfortable that we are researching to get the same bedding in our own home. When you sit out under the stunning stars at night, the crickets are amazing loud! So romantic for a glass of wine in the quiet. Our friends stayed in the other casita. They live in TX, but they were so impressed, that they plan on making it a regular destination. We didn't get a chance to do the hiking that was suggested on the property, but hope to do it next time. The owners of the property are very gracious and everything went perfectly. We will be back again next year and looking forward to it!!

Out-of-this-world Pool and Hot Tub!

"Absolutely WONDERFUL! Even though there was one other casita nearby, we had absolute privacy. The pool was stunning and the hot tub was out-of-this-world ! The owner came out to the pool to meet us, and we had a nice chat, but they did not intrude or bother us at all. They are on the property if you need assistance. The casita was immaculate and clean. The rainwater system makes the water soft and wonderful. A GREAT bed and the ac was cold. A nice welcome folder with great tips and instructions, along with some portable speakers and a nice welcome basket on the table. So very peaceful and quiet, yet within 15 minutes from both Dripping Springs and Wimberley! Nice touches all around, and sitting outside at night while grilling a steak was magical. We definitely recommend staying there.
