With a calming moss green colored exterior and wooden deck walkway, this front porch is a picturesque dream-come-true. Imagine yourself relaxing in the shade of the front porch with a glass of sweet tea, watching as the kids play in the yard. Through the front door lies the main room with a living area and dining table. Modern Southern decor and furnishings are consistent throughout the home with natural light and pops of color to brighten things up. The spacious Cypress Creek kitchen offers all conveniences needed to make your stay comfortable, whether you plan to simply brew coffee or prepare a full feast. If you care to dine outside, the back porch offers plentiful seating for all. Sit at the outdoor dining table and open the umbrella on a sunny day, or enjoy the rocking chairs in the evening with a relaxing glass of wine.

The master bedroom of Cypress Creek House is located on the first floor and offers a king bed, en-suite bathroom, and plenty of storage for your personal items. Upstairs, you will find two more bedrooms and another full bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms sleep six in total with a king bed and twin bed in one and a queen bed and twin bed in the other. Downstairs, located just off the dining room, is another living room with a sleeper sofa for extra accommodations. Each bed at Cypress Creek House offers a comfortable mattress, warm quilts, and soft linens and is sure to provide a great night’s sleep!

As the day begins, head to the kitchen to brew your morning cup of joe. Pick up some pastries at a local bakery for breakfast and step out onto the patio to marvel at the beauty of a cool Hill Country morning. Take in the amazing atmosphere as the creek ripples below, the birds chirp, and the breeze rustles the trees. You may even spot some beautiful Hill Country flora and fauna. Take a stroll down to the creek and become mesmerized as the clear water flows over the stones and giant cypress roots.

The outdoor space at Creekside Cottages is unmatched! Enjoy a fire pit, amazing views, provided seating, and creek access. Gather around the fire to roast s’mores, keep warm on a cool night, and for those late-night conversations under the stars. Bring along your fishing pole and head down to the creek to reel ‘em in! For more tranquil travelers, grab a good book and simply relax in one of the hammocks while listening to the flow of the creek. For a little friendly competition, bring yard games like cornhole and horseshoes and compete until dark, when the lighting bugs come out to play.

Spend the day in Wimberley, browsing the darling shops, delicious restaurants, and local wineries and breweries. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Jacobs Well and Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming, kayaking, and hiking trails.
Looking for an outing for the day? Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Families and children will especially love Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park. Visit the over 240 shops at the San Marcos Outlet for an endless day of shopping.
Blanco has several popular attractions for outdoorsmen, historians, and foodies. Blanco State Park offers fishing, swimming, and hiking. For those interested in the historical Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale Brewing Company offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience.

Further down the road, spend the day exploring Fredericksburg. Travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries, all within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches.

"We love escaping the city to hang at the creek. Unfortunately, the creek wasn’t following due to the drought so we sought other swimming locations. The recent renovations to the house were lovely. The only recommendation we’d have is upgrading the pots, pans and cooking utensils.

"This is our 3rd Family vacation at the cabins, but 1st time in the big house. We had a great time. Eight of our 10 family members stayed here together and had plenty of room. The other 2 members (newlyweds) stayed in the GetAWay cabin. Wimberley is such a fun city & the area offers many things to do. We will return for another family celebration.

"We had a problem that needed immediate attention, and the Management Company was highly responsive and communicative. They sent someone out at 5p on Sunday to address the problem, and when he couldn't, they hired an outside expert to attend and fix the problem within hours. We continued to be comfortable and non-bothered throughout the entire experience. Thank you!

Awesome Family Vacation Spot

"My husband, 10 month old son, rat terrier dog, and I stayed here for 5 nights. It was an awesome, much needed vacation. Inside: The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The house was much bigger than we needed, but it was really nice to spread out. The master bedroom downstairs was comfortable and the bathroom was nothing fancy but big enough. The two bedrooms upstairs were spacious, and the bathroom up there was good too. The kitchen was big enough and well stocked enough for us to prepare simple meals and breakfasts. The couches in the living room were comfy, and there were plenty of extra blankets to Snuggle on the couch. The AC was nice and cold in the living room. Outside: the view out the back was the best part of this rental. Looking out into the cypress tree tops and down to the creek was so peaceful. Stairs right behind the house take you down to the creek. The water level was low so we didn't go swimming, but I was able to walk along the creek with my dog and really enjoyed it. The back porch and view exceeded my expectations. The short, short drive to the H.E.B and downtown Wimberley was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

"LOVED this place! This house is just darling! The pictures on the website need to be updated to show the changes made to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms - they are so pretty and cozy. Everything felt so clean and fresh. The back deck is where we spent most of our time. Even though the creek is low right now there was still enough water for humans and dogs to splash around. So close to town but very peaceful. Definitely recommend staying here!

"Absolutely Fabulous ! First time staying at this property and we will definitely stay here again. It was perfect for us! Loved being on the creek! "My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the CCHouse. The view from the back deck was so lovely. We could hear the running water in the creek and the Cypress trees are beautiful. There was plenty of space for all seven of us to relax and feel comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and easy to prepare meals. We will definitely be back.
