Located at the Happiness Ranch in Blanco, experience splendor "in the treetops" while overlooking the cypress trees and the seasonal Little Blanco River. Designed for couples, this one bedroom and bath gives a treehouse feel with soaring ceilings, wall- to- wall windows, and an elevated position as if you are living in the treetops. For larger groups the Pecan Tree House and Oak Tree House are also available for an additional fee. Spread the happiness with your furry friends for an additional fee, up to two dogs are welcome to come along*.

Cypress Tree House is high living “ in the treetops”. Discover a modern studio home with a large two car garage on the main level and a studio living space on the second level. This 784 square foot studio home is a designer's delight with tasteful combinations of colors and textures. With natural light pouring through the 40 windows admire the picturesque views of the Texas Hill Country. Throughout the studio guests will appreciate the wood cabinetry, marble countertops, rich leather furnishings , colorful tile and so much more. The kitchen features high-end built-in appliances, a wall of windows and mirrors reflecting the lovely landscape. Cooks are sure to find everything needed to prepare easy meals for two. The bedroom offers an opulent modern feel with a low profile King bed, custom artwork, and luxurious linens to ensure a restful night's sleep. The roomy bathroom provides a treat with carved marble sinks, quartzite countertops, custom teak shelves, colorful tile, and a shower tub combo.

A balcony with a dining and lounging area overlooking lovely Hill Country views is the perfect outdoor space to relax. Enjoy a glass of wine or a favorite beverage while grilling favorites on the propane grill. Spend a romantic evening under the stars cozied up on the outdoor loungers. Nature lovers are sure to find their happy place exploring the 8 acres of Happiness Ranch. Cross the footbridge across a dry creek and begin your adventure. Looking for an outing for the day? Blanco has several fun attractions for those wanting to explore the local area. The area is rich in history and has plenty to offer guests. Visit Blanco State Park and enjoy a day of fishing, swimming or hiking. Interested in the Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience. Within 30 minutes, enjoy the day exploring Fredericksburg, travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches. Spend the day in Kerrville at the Schreiner Park located on 517 acres on the Guadalupe River, where you can swim, rent boats or enjoy hiking trails. The Museum of Western Art and the Pollinator Museum are fun and interesting for all ages. Indulge in one of the fabulous restaurants while listening to local artists’ music. With Wimberley only 30 minutes away, enjoy the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops at Wimberley Square. Blue Hole Regional Park is also located very close as well as many wineries. If you enjoy hiking, there are many trails in the area as well. Visitors will not be disappointed, as there is plenty to see and do in the Hill Country.

This place is beautiful

"This place exceeded our expectations. Most places are a lot better in pictures than real life, but this house is even better in person. It was clean and secluded, and very well maintained. There is another rental very close, so if you bring reactive dogs or want more privacy, they probably would have better options. Still a lot of privacy though. Nothing to complain, really.

"We had a lovely time during our stay at the Cypress Tree House. It is such a beautiful place with an amazing view. If quiet is what you are looking for, this is your place. It is placed within driving distance to all the beautiful areas the hill country has to offer. Afterwards you get to return to the peace and quiet surrounding this beautiful place.

"Peaceful, restful, quiet, beautiful- we had a wonderful “escape” and will return again. The tree house is on the second floor over the garage. It gives a great view and sense of being a part of nature. The house was very clean and well stocked.

"This is a great place for a getaway. It’s out in the country and overlooks a small river with a huge deck. It’s close enough to town to run in for dinner or supplies but far enough out to make it feel remote.
