Take the farm out of the barn at Barndo on the Blanco in Wimberley! This luxury-style barn is full of style and class to give you a unique experience along the Blanco River! With four bedrooms and three baths, this property can sleep up to 14 guests for an unforgettable trip with friends and family in the beautiful Hill Country.

As you drive up to the house, this may look like a regular barn at first. But as soon as you walk in, modern and bright touches catch your eye. The open concept layout of this space paired with high ceilings allow plenty of natural light to pool in. The living room is complete with a comfortable sofa and two beautiful leather chairs, perfect for large groups. Watch a movie on the large flatscreen television or just spend an evening cozying around the fireplace. Guests are sure to appreciate the stunning wood flooring throughout the living, kitchen, and dining rooms making for a warm and inviting space. With a spacious island, this kitchen is ideal for gathering and preparing favorites. With sleek, modern finishes, an undermount farmhouse sink, walk-in pantry, and coffee bar, this kitchen will make you want to take it home with you! This space is complete with a french door refrigerator, cooktop, stove, and dishwasher. Guests can take a seat at the kitchen island or sit down for a meal at the dining table just off the kitchen. The space is framed by large picture windows, so you won’t miss a second of the beautiful Hill Country view! A lovely writing desk is featured in this space as well. Should you need to check in with the office or feel inspired to create something during your stay.

Just down the hallway, find all four bedrooms in the home. Bedroom 1 features a king bed and large flatscreen television. This space has a clean and modern feel that taps into nature with its textures. Not to mention, the gorgeous views just outside through the two large windows in this space. This room also features a private attached bathroom. Complete with a walk-in shower, spacious vanity, large mirror, and stunning finishes, this space does not disappoint! Bedroom 2 features a queen bed and bright pops of color. Warm textures in this room invite you in for restful sleep during your stay! Bedroom 3 features a queen bed, a cozy reading chair, and clean lines and fun sunny Texas accents to welcome you in. Bedroom 4 is the bunk room, perfect for the kids. This room features a queen bed, full bed, and four twin beds. The kids will enjoy sharing this space after a day full of adventures. This space is complete with a large flatscreen television for a fun movie night! There are two bathrooms that all guests can access as well. Bathroom 2 features a walk-in shower and fun tiles that bring life to this space! Bathroom 3 also features a walk-in shower, offering plenty of space for all guests to get ready for the day. Each room is complete with comfortable linens to ensure restful sleep during your stay. A full-sized washer and dryer are available in the laundry room for guests’ convenience as well. Find a lovely back porch space through the double glass doors. A welcoming outdoor space is where guests will want to spend plenty of their stay. A covered porch with ceiling fans allow guests to spend all hours of the day enjoying the beautiful Hill Country weather and views. With numerous fun seating options, including comfortable outdoor sofas, swinging day beds, and rocking chairs, this space will be a favorite for all. Just around the way, there is an outdoor dining table for guests to enjoy meals under the dark sky of Wimberley. Walk down the stone path to the covered game area and fire pit. Here you can play horseshoes and cornhole while enjoying time with friends and family. A fire pit is located just next to the covered game area where guests can make smores under the twinkling stars. An outdoor playground is also available for the young ones to enjoy!

If you're looking for an outing for the day, the downtown square of Wimberley offers darling shops, restaurants wine tasting, and live music the perfect place to enjoy a fun afternoon. Adventurists will enjoy swimming and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, fly across the sky at Zip Line Adventure, or drop by Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming and nature trails. Only a short drive away Canyon Lake offers Old Hancock Trail with horseback riding and hiking. A beach area with swimming and nature trails at Overlook Park, stroll the Canyon Lake Dam and appreciate amazing views of the lake, or rent a pontoon boat or jet ski for the day at one of the local shops. Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, to enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. Visit New Braunfels and float the beautiful Guadalupe River. Rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting.

"Paradise! Tranquil setting amongst the beautiful hillcountry with tons of wildlife. Gorgeous interior of house & just as comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again. Perfect setting to celebrate my husband being 56 years young!

"The place was beautiful and so clean. Good beds and beautiful tranquil view off the patio, of the dry river bed and bluff. The floor plan of the house was so nice and we really enjoyed it. However there was one small complaint. The wash cloths and hand towels were not dried completely and were put in the drawers still damp. Other than that it was a great place.

"We had an amazing family getaway with both sets of grandparents and 2 kids. Property was extremely spacious inside and out. Perfect for relaxing on the patio, cooking, and enjoying family time within range of some fun places to shop and grab a drink. Would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful stay in peaceful hill country

"2 families with 7 kids stayed here for 4 nights. House was wonderful, clean, updated, and made for a very nice vacation. Only knocks against the house was the water pressure was low and the fire pit w/ chairs in on incline and clearly had not been used by someone who owns the place. There was zero water in the Blanco river but that is no one person's fault and it is a solid 20+ minutes of driving from anywhere which is what we wanted but good to know for anyone else.
