Perched high on a bluff is Wimberley’s unmatched River Villa! Overlooking the banks of the Blanco River, this magnificent property offers a mix of Mediterranean elegance and Texas grandeur. If luxury with a Texas twist sounds heavenly then the River Villa will not disappoint. Remotely located on 10 picturesque acres, a private river park, multiple balconies with stunning views, two tranquil swimming pools, sports court, courtyard with fountain, several outdoor areas to include a fireplaces, and a wild game room equipped with a projector are just a few of the endless amenities this property offers. River Villa provides approximately 10,000 square feet of luxury with a bit of a Texas twist, featuring tile, stone, and custom accents; those who enjoy the finer things will settle beautifully at the River Villa.

Just behind the double gates find one of the Hill Country’s hidden gems, the River Villa! With a Mediterranean Palace design guests are sure to appreciate a taste of Texas royalty. The property includes two villas, the Main House with three bedrooms and the Guest Villa with an additional two bedrooms. Offering plenty of space for up to 10 guests to enjoy this incredible property with endless views from multiple balconies and covered terraces. Upon entering the Main Villa through the double doors a stunning bright and airy great room with archways, high ceilings and a breathtaking limestone fireplace. This space opens to the kitchen, a chef's dream, offering high end appliances and plenty of space for preparing gourmet meals. A dining table for six and bar/counter seating make for plenty of seating. Indulge in a movie night in the wild game room with a drop down projector. Choose one of the many fireplaces to unwind with a nightcap or relax on one of the many inviting terraces to enjoy the stars, fireflies, and the crickets singing. Sleep soundly in one of the three private retreats in the Main Villa. The primary located on the main level hosts a king bed dressed in elegant linens overlooking the pool and river. A luxurious en suite awaits guests to indulge in luxury. Two additional bedrooms are located up the spiral staircase each offering a taste of elegance, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, each with a private bath for refreshing before retiring for the night. The Guest Villa located just through the breezeway hosts a second kitchen that will delight the most discerning chefs. A second living space is perfect for enjoying river views and a favorite movie. An additional two bedrooms are located upstairs. Each offering style, elegance with private balconies. One bedroom hosts a king bed and the second a queen, each with its own private bath.

During your stay enjoy incredible painted Hill Country sunsets on the numerous outdoor balconies or expansive terraces. Each with picturesque river views, as well as dining, and lounging areas making a perfect space for entertaining. Spend hot Texas days refreshing in one of the two stunning swimming pools while grilling up favorites. Evenings in the relaxing spa are amazing under the Texas stars. A manicured yard leads to the Blanco River where you’ll find a private river park waiting for those who enjoy tubing, kayaking or just kicking back and floating the river. An assortment of shade trees is found throughout the 10 acres. Explore the grounds or head to the sports court and play a game of tennis, basketball, or many other court games.

Wimberley is only 15 minutes away and offers plenty to do and eat. Visit the galleries and varied shops in the downtown square, or arrange for a trail ride at a local ranch. Scoot your boots at one of the area dance halls. On the first Saturday of most months, Wimberley comes alive with Market Days, a large and varied flea market. Farther afield (about an hour) and decidedly less rural are Austin and San Antonio. The Hill Country is known for excellent wine, as well as for limestone hills and clear streams. You can work your way from Wimberley west to Fredericksburg tasting wine at any of the hundreds of vineyards. You can even hire a limo to drive you.

Looking for an outing for the day? Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun.
Blanco has several popular attractions for outdoorsmen, historians, and foodies. Blanco State Park offers fishing, swimming, and hiking. For those interested in the historical Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale Brewing Company offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience.

Further down the road, spend the day exploring Fredericksburg. Travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries, all within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches.

"This place is amazing! Plenty of space and beautiful views. The pools are so relaxing to be in as you watch all the deer. Even has private river access to swim or raft. This house is all you can dream of and more.
