"Stayed here during the pre-opening and were we impressed! Over 2 milliuon grass seeds were put down to return the ecosystem back to the days of 1840's in Texas! The owners built a Lake where there was a Cedar Forest previously. We tubed, paddled & swam all day and after dinner walked the hand cut 2.5 milt Dry Cypress Trail. Easily our favorite place we have ever stayed! Will be back next time with all 15 of our family!

"This property is hands down the best place to stay in Wimberley... it's on the land with the most amazing regenerative farm. The lake is like a little slice of heaven. The rentals themselves are straight out of a design magazine. The hosts are a very interesting family who are bringing amazing things to their land. This place was wonderful for a date night weekend for my husband and I- so romantic! But we are excited to come again with our kids and explore all that Hill Country has to offer from this amazing location.

"Beautifully decorated modern cabin-style retreat with all the amenities of home plus access to ample hiking, biking, swimming, paddleboarding, and exploring. Far enough out to get away from the noise of road traffic, but still a short drive into Wimberley or San Marcos. Don't forget to pack bug spray and sunscreen, and beware that the fish in the pond may bite, but overall this is a perfect getaway for a quiet weekend to reconnect, rekindle, and relax.
