Allow yourself to be immersed in the rustic charm of a Texas-style log cabin nestled in the heart of Blanco. Perfect for families and couples, this captivating 2-level cabin offers a spacious open floor plan with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and enough space to sleep up to 10. Rim Rock guests are sure to have unforgettable experiences with 10 acres of hill country to explore, picturesque views with natural light streaming through, a refreshing swimming pool, relaxing hot tub, and so much more to create unforgettable memories.

At Rim Rock be greeted with a lovely log cabin with vaulted ceilings, log beams, and a spectacular wood burning stove. With an open floor plan the living space is perfect for gathering with family and friends. The cabin is immersed in floor to ceiling windows offering lovely Hill Country views from all levels of the cabin. The dining space hosts a unique 8-seat octagon table, which is bound to have guests admiring its special shape. The kitchen is stocked with all that is needed for cooking up hearty meals for family and friends.

Guests are sure to have a peaceful night's sleep in one of the four bedrooms each with their own bit of Texas flair. Located on the main floor, the first bedroom hosts a queen bed with patio access to the new Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom also located on the main floor hosts a queen bed. Upstairs find the master suite with a private balcony, king bed with western-inspired decor, giving it a fun vibe. An ensuite with a walk-in shower and a soaking tub, makes it convenient to get ready for a night out. Find a fourth roomy bedroom accessed through the master bathroom or use the private staircase to access the room.

But the real excitement awaits in the game room, where friendly competitions unfold amidst the lively atmosphere of foosball, shuffleboard, and Pac-Man. Need a break? Simply unfold the queen-sized Murphy bed and sink into comfort for a well-deserved nap or restful night's sleep.

Outdoors, enjoy gorgeous views of the Hill Country while relaxing in the large inground swimming pool with waterfall! End the day taking a dip in the hot tub or roasting marshmallows around the firepit. Relax under the trees in one of the many lounging areas or explore the 10 acre property on the nature trails. Escape to Rim Rock Cabin -A Texas style escape with beautiful hill country views, private pool, and so much more.

Looking for an outing for the day? Blanco has several fun attractions for those wanting to explore the local area. The area is rich in history and has plenty to offer guests. Visit Blanco State Park and enjoy a day of fishing, swimming, or hiking. For those interested in the Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience.

Within 30 minutes, explore Fredericksburg or travel to Wine Road 290, which offers 19 wineries within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches.

Spend the day in Kerrville at the Schreiner Park located on 517 acres on the Guadalupe River, where you can swim, rent boats and enjoy hiking trails. The Museum of Western Art and the Pollinator Museum are fun and interesting for all ages. Indulge in one of the fabulous restaurants while listening to local artists’ music.

"We have never rented a vacation property before, but wanted something special to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our grown son and daughter, our son’s wife, and their two young children. We stayed for 3 nights and 2 full days, and it could not have been better. The home itself is incredibly beautiful, but we were not expecting the welcoming touches. We never even left—just played in the pool, cooked out, and relaxed in the hot tub. (When a smoke detector battery went out, I called, and they came out immediately and replaced it.) Our last night, we celebrated with champagne, a slideshow I’d put together of our 50 years as a family, and grilled steaks. Everyone loved it so much we hope to return next year. I want to thank HCPL for such a lovely time and unforgettable memories.

"This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. The cabin is very clean, nice furnishings, and everything you need for an amazing stay. The cabin is very secluded and private. The hot tub was great to unwind in at the end of the day. We will be back to swim in the pool during warmer weather.

"I’ve been renting vacation properties for over 15 years and this is the best rental yet. Not only is it a beautiful property but the best equipped one to date. Everything needed was there, from kitchen, pool and fire pit supplies to all toiletries. All you need to pack is a suitcase and your food. This rental doesn’t disappoint

"This property was just what my family and I needed to wrap up the summer. The home itself is truly special - the perfect blend of log cabin plus beautiful furnishings and amenities. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of thought into making you feel welcome. We loved the well-stocked kitchen, large family table, and comfortable bedrooms. Outside we enjoyed using the pool every day and appreciated the lovely surroundings. This truly was a memorable vacation!

"The location, house, cleanliness, comfort, etc. were all a solid 5. If I could rate higher I would because the owners went above and beyond to ensure their guests have everything possible to enjoy the stay-ex. beach towels and floats for the pool, every possible game for inside and outside fun, an unbelievably stocked kitchen, any toiletry that may have been forgotten, and even a welcome basket with snacks and a great bottle of wine! It was the most stress free vacation ever!
