Inside, the wooden floors and furnishings add a rustic touch to the home, complemented by the lovely colorful bedspread and decor. The owners have provided soft towels and linens and extra pillows for your comfort. You are sure to wake up feeling refreshed after a restful night’s sleep in the Bungalow bedroom! Step into the kitchen and prepare breakfast or a cup of coffee using the Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen is as charming as it is convenient, stocked with all the necessities for your stay. Use the grill for a hearty meal or bring some snacks for a tasty charcuterie board. Enjoy a delicious meal inside at the cozy breakfast nook or outdoors on the deck area.

With all that it has to offer outdoor enthusiasts will love this property. The nice wood deck is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee while enjoying nature. Sunflower Ridge acquired its name through the owner's daughter's love of sunflowers and the beautiful wildflowers that grow around the home in the Spring. Needless to say, Sunflower Ridge is a magical place to connect with nature. You are sure to see whitetail deer off in the woods and hummingbirds buzzing around the birdfeeder. Grab a good book and spend a relaxing afternoon in the hammock. As the sun goes down, enjoy your favorite beverage on the deck. Gather around the fire pit to roast s’mores or keep warm on a cool night. Don’t forget to look up and gaze upon the beautiful Texas night sky.

Whether you’re an outdoorsman or a shopaholic, there is so much to do in San Marcos! Float down the spring-fed San Marcos River. Head over to the Meadows Center and hop on the glass-bottom boat tour for a closer look and a unique perspective of the beautiful river. Visit the over 240 shops at the outlet mall for a day of endless shopping. Hike the trails at Purgatory Creek Natural Area and take in the beauty.

Looking for an outing for the day? Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Families and children will especially love Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park.

Spend the day in Wimberley, browsing the darling shops, delicious restaurants, and local wineries and breweries. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Jacobs Well and Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming, kayaking, and hiking trails.
Blanco has several popular attractions for outdoorsmen, historians, and foodies. Blanco State Park offers fishing, swimming, and hiking. For those interested in the historical Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale Brewing Company offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience.

Further down the road, spend the day exploring Fredericksburg. Travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries, all within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches. In Kerrville, Schreiner Park is located on 517 acres along the Guadalupe River, where you can swim, rent boats, or explore hiking trails. The Museum of Western Art and the Pollinator Museum are fun and interesting for all ages. Indulge in one of the fabulous restaurants while listening to local artists’ music.

"Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Great shower, good kitchen. The bed was comfortable, although for a European shorty alarmingly high. The property is swarming with wildlife, including birds and butterflies - and an alarming spider with thick furry legs! We had a lovely stay - thank you so much!

"Loved this cabin! The bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and there were even snacks waiting when I arrived. The deck was perfect for coffee and dining. Also enjoyed a campfire at night in the fire pit. I highly recommend this property!

"Absolutely cute little bungalow. Sat outside to enjoy our moring coffee and watched the sunrise on the patio area. At night we sat by the fire pit to enjoy the view of the stars at night. I would highly recommend this place to any couple that wants to disconnect from the stressors of life for a bit and recenter themselves. Also a great place that's not too far from Wimberley, Gruene and Fredericksburg.

"I loved this property. The one room bungalow is perfect for two people to stay in. Mattress and pillows were great and they even had a little heater going for us when we got there as it was chilly outside. Love how away from everything it was, so much peace and quiet. "Very nice room. Had enough room for the two of us. Bed was very comfy. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted for a short stay. It was a quiet area, and just very enjoyable. We weren't there much, but when we were, it was just right.

"The cabin was clean and tidy. Has a fire pit and hammock chair, small oven and stove. Perfect for two. Our other Airbnb cancelled on us at the last minute and we were able to find this little spot just a few hours before heading to town. There’s a few other cabins on the property, but they’re spaced far apart and we didn’t see any other people.
