Grab a good book and spend a relaxing afternoon in the hammock. As the sun goes down, enjoy your favorite beverage on the deck. Whether you’re an outdoorsman or a shopaholic, there is so much to do in San Marcos! Float down the spring-fed San Marcos River. Head over to the Meadows Center and hop on the glass-bottom boat tour for a closer look and a unique perspective of the beautiful river. Visit the over 240 shops at the outlet mall for a day of endless shopping. Hike the trails at Purgatory Creek Natural Area and take in the beauty.
Looking for an outing for the day? Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Families and children will especially love Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park.
